Terms of Use
These are the rules for using JOMO Roll. We’ve kept them short and in plain language. By using the app you agree to them.
What JOMO Roll is
JOMO Roll is a disposable-camera app for real-life events. A host creates a Room, guests join with a QR code or a room code, and everyone gets a limited number of shots. Photos stay undeveloped until the person who took them develops their roll; after that they appear in the Room’s shared album.
Who can use it
You need to be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age for digital consent where you live if that is higher. If you are under 18, use JOMO Roll with the permission of a parent or guardian.
Your account
You can use JOMO Roll as a guest, or sign up with an email address, Apple or Google. A guest account lives on your device: if you delete the app or change phones without signing up, we can’t bring your rolls back.
Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
Rooms, hosts and guests
The host decides the Room’s name, roll, shot limit and challenges, and who gets in. Guests shoot within those limits. Anyone with the room code or QR code can ask to join, so share it only with people you want in the Room.
Your photos
Your photos are yours. To run the app we need your permission to store them, process them (for example to apply the roll’s look) and show them to the other people in the Room once you develop your roll. That permission ends when the photos are deleted.
We don’t sell your photos, use them in advertising, or use them to train AI models.
When you export photos to post elsewhere, what you post and where is your responsibility — including the photos other people took, if you export the whole Room.
Other people in your photos
A camera at an event photographs other people. Be decent about it: don’t shoot anyone who has asked you not to, and ask before you post someone outside the Room.
Don’t use JOMO Roll for anything illegal, to harass or humiliate someone, or to share sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate images, or content that violates someone else’s rights. A host can remove a guest from their Room.
What we may do
We may remove photos or Rooms, or suspend an account, if these terms are broken or if the law requires it. To report something, write to support@jomoroll.app.
The service, as it is
We work to keep JOMO Roll running and your photos safe, but the app is provided as it is. We can’t promise it will never be interrupted or that a photo will never be lost — export the ones you want to keep.
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses that come from using the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be waived.
Changes and ending
You can stop using JOMO Roll at any time and ask us to delete your account. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll say so in the app before the change applies.
